5K Run/Walk Are in Conjunction With Holiday Fantasy of Lights

- Event set for November 15 at Tradewinds Park-

 

WHAT:           The 13th Fantasy of Lights 5K Run and 2.5-Mile Fitness Walk will be held starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, at Tradewinds Park, 3600 W. Sample Rd., Coconut Creek. A unique evening race set on a USA Track and Field-certified course illuminated with millions of lights and larger-than-life animated displays, the 5K course is flat, fast, and ideal for setting a personal record. The 5K Run begins at 6 p.m., followed by the 2.5-Mile Fitness Walk at 7 p.m. There is also a free Kids’ Fun Run starting at 6:50 p.m. Registration for this sell-out event runs through November 1 (or until course capacity is reached) and is available only at www.active.com – no paper registration is offered. The fees are $18 per person for the 5K Run and $16 per person for the Fitness Walk.

HOW:             Fees: $18/person for 5K Run; $16/person for Fitness Walk. Preregistration is required and is available only at www.active.com. This event sells out quickly, so early registration is recommended to secure a spot. Registration is accepted through November 1, or until course capacity is reached.
