Snakes and Spiders and More, Oh My!
- Nature center hosts lecture series featuring live animal demonstrations -
WHAT: Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek will host a Nature Lecture Series, for all ages, on Sundays, October 19 and 26 and November 2, in the nature center’s amphitheater. Each lecture in this fun and informative series lasts approximately one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. Live animals will be used to emphasize the lecture topics, although there will be no handling of the animals by the public.
Topics for the series are as follows: October 19 – Snakes and Spiders; October 26 – Amphibians and Reptiles; and November 2 – Dangerous Plants, Animals, and Insects. A $3 per lecture donation is requested.
