There are 31 municipalities in Broward County. Many of the cities have their own recreation departments that offer year-round recreation and leisure opportunities (programs, activities, special events, park facilities, etc.). Many agencies have accessible facilities and amenities such as playgrounds, fishing docks, boat ramps, exercise courses, nature trails and boardwalks, and picnic areas. For more information about a particular city/county program or facility, call that agency directly.

- different types and amount of accessible safety surface
- ground-level activities
- play panel(s)
- transfer tier/station(s)
- transfer steps/deck(s)
- ramps to access raised equipment
