Sunview Park
This location was originally a 21.5-acre rock pit that was only eight feet above sea level at its lowest point and was referred to as Big Hole Park.
The park became a center of athletic and recreational activity after the Broward County Commission leased it in 1963 to the Southwest Athletic Association, a non-profit volunteer group. The park took its current name from its Sun-View Recreation Building, which was provided by the Broward County Port Authority.

Sunview is still the hub of athletic activity with baseball, softball, soccer, football and sometimes cricket games occurring throughout the park.
Park amenities include:
The park offers a free after school program for ages 6 to 15, as well as a summer recreation program. Currently, there are dog obedience classes at the park.
