At 272 acres of green rolling hills and meadows, Vista View offers a wide range of activities. Outdoor enthusiasts have been attracted to the park for its athletic challenges. The hills have become a training ground for cyclists, runners, triathletes, skateboarders, football players, and paragliders. There are plenty of places for family picnicking, an airstrip for radio-controlled plane and glider pilots, a dock for fishing, and an area for primitive group camping.
Vista View is still developing and growing. Some of the future plans include: more picnic shelters, a corporate pavilion, basketball courts, playgrounds (including a universal access playground that will be called Caitlyn's Corral, and a horse corral.
Picnic Shelters
Vista View Park offers two small picnic shelters complete with picnic tables, a grill, and electrical outlets. Reservations are required and payment must be made when reserved. Click on the appropriate link to see a layout of each shelter.
